Backstamp denotes "In recognition of all World War II War Pigeons who served alongside the British Military Intelligence Service".

This is an especially unique piece as the idea came from a competition run by the Royal Crown Derby Guild Collectors who were given the chance to design a Royal Crown Derby paperweight, and the winner Mrs Bartlam suggested a war pigeon.

A pre-loved item from Goviers has been carefully selected and assessed prior to photography. Each piece is evaluated and checked prior to despatch. All items are boxed with gold stopper, appropriate certificate and backstamp unless otherwise stated. HT
