Moorcroft White Winter Hope

February may not be a month full of colour, but snowdrops do bring a much-needed flash of pure white to winter gardens before Spring truly arrives.  Their arrival heralds the beginning of the end of winter and as the days start to lengthen in light, their small nodding heads bring cheer to us all.  Nicola has chosen to feature this iconic winter flower in a stylised geometric repeat pattern.  Look closely and you can see the fragile green markings on the snowdrops hidden under petals, while those flowers at the base of the vase stay tightly closed as if wrapped up from the winter’s cold itself.
