Polperro Harbour is one of Cornwall’s most picturesque and historic fishing harbours. Surrounded by narrow winding streets, whitewashed cottages, and steep cliffs, the harbour has retained much of its traditional charm and character over the centuries. Emma has added the historic Blue Peter Inn to her design, an eighteenth-century inn that has long been part of the village’s maritime heritage. Together, the harbour scene and iconic inn capture the timeless character, seafaring history, and coastal beauty of this much-loved Cornish fishing village.
The King Charles III England Coast Path is a 2,700-mile National Trail tracing the entire English coastline. Opened in March 2026, it passes through beaches, cliffs, coastal towns and ever-changing landscapes, offering greater access for walkers to experience the shoreline and its surrounding margins.
Inspired by the natural world and that sense of ‘fresh air therapy’, Emma has interpreted the eight sections of the path across eight individual pieces. From views directly along the trail to nearby coastal scenes, the varied beauty of England’s coastline is captured in ceramic form.
