Numbered Edition
Grey seals can be spotted at South Walney Nature Reserve during high tide throughout the year. The reserve’s peaceful sand dunes, salt marshes, and coastal habitats provide an important sanctuary for these much-loved mammals. Here, Emma’s adorable pod of seal pups can be found basking along the shoreline.
The King Charles III England Coast Path is a 2,700-mile National Trail tracing the entire English coastline. Opened in March 2026, it passes through beaches, cliffs, coastal towns and ever-changing landscapes, offering greater access for walkers to experience the shoreline and its surrounding margins.
Inspired by the natural world and that sense of ‘fresh air therapy’, Emma has interpreted the eight sections of the path across eight individual pieces. From views directly along the trail to nearby coastal scenes, the varied beauty of England’s coastline is captured in ceramic form.
