Moorcroft Summer's Treat July Miniature 2023

July sees the first good crop of fruits, which are a great source of food for the residents of the hedgerow such as bees, beetles, butterflies and foraging mammals. Cherry plums, cherries and wild strawberries have started to ripen and are a colourful, succulent treat to discover on a hot summer’s walk, growing in the shade at the base of the hedgerow.
