Inspired by De Morgan's interest in Middle Eastern ceramics and his use of birds as decorative motifs, Nicola has created a design that celebrates movement, rhythm, and the beauty of nature. Stylised swallows circle the outside of the bowl in a bold repeating pattern, creating a sense of motion. This flowing border is beautifully balanced by the intricate floral design at the centre.
