Charles Rennie Mackintosh, a leading Arts and Craft designer, developed his own design style which was a contrast between right angles and curvaceous decorative floral motifs - such as his rose motif. In Rachel’s December Rose, blue and white roses flower in cool winter shades with mint green stylised leaves bending in an arc below them. Hints of purple warm this winter wonder in both geometric squares and in the roses themselves.
