Designer, Nicola Slaney, has created a poignant poppy design featuring an unusually named variety of the wild flower, called ‘Ladybird’, after the large black spot at the base of each red petal. Below these emotive crimson red flowers can be discovered tiny ladybirds crawling across the poppy leaves. This design brings horticulture and nature together and reminds us all that from the bleakest wasteland, trampled by mankind, beauty and life can come forth and thrive for a new generation to appreciate.

For each Ladybird Poppy jug ordered before Sunday10th November 2024, Moorcroft will make a monetary donation to The Royal British Legion. The RBL was formed in 1921 to help members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families. Their support starts after one day of service and continues for life, long after service is over.
