This design radiates with Rachel's own style and colour and showcases her love for all things encompassed within the Arts and Crafts movement. The different elements hint at the floral motifs of John Henry Dearle wallpaper, the black tracery of a Philip Webb window and the linework of Archibald Knox's pewter ware.
