Verbascum 'Cotswold Beauty' is a short-lived semi-evergreen perennial that can reach an impressive 1.2 metres in height, making the plant perfect for Nicola’s favoured 365/15 shape. Complete with a basal rosette of broadly ovate, dark green leaves and erect spikes of light buff flowers ranging from pale apricot to coppery-orange, and striking purple stamens, this Verbascum would put our artists under pressure.
