Moorcroft Cloud of Stars March Mini 2023

Britain’s hedgerows start to wake up in March with clouds of the tiny white stars of blackthorn blossom appearing. This is hedgerow nestbuilding time and the blackthorn blossom screens the birds’ nests and offers vital protection. Blackthorn fruit, dark purple berries, follows its spring blossom in the autumn and helps keep the hedgerow alive throughout the year.
