Inspired by De Morgan's recurring use of hares, in particular those created during his Chelsea period (1872 – 1881), Nicola has created a design that celebrates the beauty of nature through simple forms.  The hares are intertwined with flowing foliage and berries, echoing De Morgan's own stylised approach to depicting the natural world, and fitting in perfectly as part of the Arts and Crafts movement.
