This important teddy bear wears the Royal Victorian Order Sash, recognising King Charles’ position as Sovereign of the Order. Made from official Royal Victorian Order ribbon, the sash is adorned with Italian gold tassels and a detailed enamel and gold-plated replica Order of the Garter star, which is attached with a gold-capped stud.
Founded in 1348 by King Edward III, the Order of the Garter is the most senior order of chivalry in the United Kingdom.
