This Merrythought bear, which features in the film 'Goodbye Christopher Robin', is a replica of Christopher Robin's original teddy bear - Edward - who was created by Farnell in 1921 and famous inspired AA Milne's Winnie the Pooh stories. Hand-crafted in England using the same traditional skills and materials as Christopher Robin's original Edward bear, this handsome chap features a rich, antigue golden mohair coat and sandy-beige pure woollen felt paws. His deep set eyes show a longing to be loved which together with a hand-embroidered nose and wry smile; give him a quintessential charm that can only be found in a teddy bear of this timeless design. Edward also 'growls' when tipped.Each Edward bear is individually numbered as part of a special edition, and comes with a cotton 'Farnell by Merrythought' gift bag.
