Celebrating 95 Years of Merrythought!
2025 marks a significant milestone for Merrythought; 95 years since their unique company was founded by Gordon Holmes in 1930. Their celebrations start with the launch of two exquisite commemorative bears, beautifully designed and hand-crafted.
Individually numbered as part of a limited edition of only 1930pcs, each collectable bear is presented in an exclusive ‘95th Anniversary’ luxury gift box, alongside a Certificate of Authenticity.

Marrying Sapphire (45th) and Golden (50th) anniversary years, this distinguished Teddy Bear and Cheeky Bear are beautifully hand-crafted in Merrythought's original Ironbridge factory from two tones of the finest golden mohair, combined with pure cotton velvet.
Each bear has a simplified version of Merrythought's new 95th anniversary logo meticulously embroidered on their left paw, and a special 95th anniversary foot label stitched to the other paw, which is currently exclusive to these unique bears.
Each bear is adorned with a luscious double satin bow, in the centre of which is a detailed 24 carat gold-plated pendant embellished with the iconic Merrythought wishbone, framed by sapphire crystals.
