The 2026 edition of Georg Jensen’s annual Christmas mobile is the defining piece of this year’s musical Christmas theme, expressed through a collection inspired by the music and melodies so closely connected to the holiday season. The mobile takes the form of a drum wrapped in a swirling band of musical notes, drawing inspiration from the beloved Danish Christmas song “Højt fra træets grønne top” (“High on the Tree’s Green Top”), written by Peter Faber in 1847 and traditionally sung in Denmark on Christmas Eve as families gather around the tree. Lyrics from the song are also engraved in the gold-plated ribbon that surrounds the drum. The mobile is plated in 18kt gold and comes with a sleek ribbon in two colours: classic red and a deep red created especially for the 2026 Christmas Collectibles.
18 kt. gold plated brass
Usual Jensen quality for Christmas mobile, the design is not always to be desired but we keep collecting as we have all of them to date. Sad they stopped the solid plastic box and now only have a card box.
I have been collecting Georg Jensen Christmas ornaments since they were first launched in 1985 and I was living there. Each year new design is added. This is the first year I've purchased from Goviers, the communication and service was excellent
