Moorcroft Hottentot Fig June Miniature

Flowerheads of hottentot fig are often a golden yellow, fading to pink over time, and frame a centre of tiny stamens. Like gold medallions in the midsummer sun, these dainty flowers can be found around the edges of beaches, sand dunes and coastal cliffs, mainly on the south west coastline of Cornwall and Devon, but also as far north as Anglesey.
