Halcyon Days Limited Edition Musical Box featuring the Trooping the Colour ceremony. Trooping the Colour is a military parade dating from the 18th Century to celebrate the official birthday of Her Majesty The Queen and has been an annual tradition since 1748. Every second Saturday of June, over 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians create a theatrical and meticulously organised display in commemoration of Her Majesty The Queen’s Birthday.
This delicately hand-painted gold enamel musical box is limited to an edition of 25 and beautifully illustrates Her Majesty The Queen on her most treasured horse, Burmese, on the grounds of Buckingham Palace.
