Fitted with a Reuge movement, once opened, the box plays 'Hallelujah Chorus' from Handel's Messiah. Inscribed inside the lid: '2020 marks the 850th Anniversary that shocked the nation, the murder of Thomas Becket in 1170 within the walls of Canterbury Cathedral. In the time that followed his death, over 700 miracles were reported to have taken place and in 1173, Pope Alexander III proclaimed Thomas Becket a Saint, leading Canterbury to become one of Europe's most important pilgrimage centres.The oldest church in England and a place to worship for more than 1,400 years, Canterbury Cathedral is referred to as the Mother Church of the Anglican Communion.'
