An original 1800Õs thatched lakeside cottage, it is situated just outside the village of Belleek. On the other side of the small Lake lies the ruins of Keenaghan Abbey which was an important part of the Caldwell Estate and part of the Ancient kingdom of Miodbholg, now known as Mulleek. The Caldwell Estate was inherited by John Caldwell Bloomfield where the famous story of Belleek Pottery began.
Hand painted, the cottage has a lovely thatched roof and a red tin roof on the attached shed. A bicycle is propped up against the gable wall, the window boxes are full of flowers and there is a shamrock on the back of the piece.
