Moorcroft Snowdrop Fairies

Deep sleeps the Winter, and in this cold, frosty, natural world, all life appears still. Yet it is the call of the tiny snowdrop that shakes the world awake. Emma has championed fairies in Moorcroft before, including the famous Cottingley Fairies, and for her snowdrop fairies, her inspiration are young, fragile maidens with hair as brown as root, as gold as a snowdrop’s ovary and as amber as the shafts of light that peep through a cluster of snowdrops, laughing the world awake.
